Regardless your event is open to public or by-invitation-only, the first thing you will have to do is completing the Registration Form Settings so that your registrants will know what information they should provide.
RSVP
If your event is by-invitation-only and simply asking for "Yes" or "No" for guest's attendance with pre-filled information, we would suggest you sending out the invitations via RSVP.
To send out RSVP emails,
1. Click "Broadcasts" in Menu Bar. Create a new email by clicking "Email" on upper right hand corner
2. Select the email template to create an email
3a. A specific RSVP button with RSVP link will be included in the Template as below:

3b. or add the RSVP link into the email content by using the Merge Tag of RSVP URL

If you want to add the merge tag to the button, you need to select the button first. Then add the merge tag in the URL under 'Button Link.
For example, you want to add the Default Registration form RSVP URL to the button. You type {{form_10202_rsvp_url}}.
Then guests can click the buttons which direct to the RSVP form.
Public Registration
If your event opens to public registration, we would suggest posting a Public Registration Link on your website or promotion materials.
